Imagine you found a treasure chest with 10 gold coins. You could buy a new toy or save for a bike, but did you know that giving just one coin away could actually make you the happiest person in the room?
Charity is the act of giving help to people, animals, or places that need it. When you give something you own to help someone else, it is called donating. You don't just have to donate money! You can donate your time by helping at a food bank, or you can donate items like old clothes or toys that you don't use anymore. When we give, we are being part of something bigger than ourselves.
